Program Overview

Summer Camp 2024 Details:

Fees include all activities, supplies, two daily snacks, field trips and transportation (to out trips).

Week 1 – Aloha Adventures (July 2-5)

Get ready to embark on a tropical journey filled with warmth and vibrancy where they'll experience a blend of excitement, relaxation, and exploration. We will be going to the Vancouver Aquarium, watching  “Despicable Me 4” at the movie theatre, and spending an afternoon at Beaconsfield Park. From creating paper leis to fish in a bag slime, every day will be filled with new discoveries and unforgettable adventures!

Grade 1 – Age 12: $346

Week 2 – Tropical Christmas (July 8-12)

Get ready for a unique twist on traditional Christmas festivities as we blend the joy of the season with the laid-back vibes of a tropical paradise. This week, we will be going to 365 Fundays in Richmond, Spanish Banks Beach, and Granville Island Splash Park! Throughout the week, they'll enjoy a variety of holiday-themed activities, including tropical snow globes, creating sandcastle nativities and even a visit from Santa with his Hawaiian shirt and flip flops!

Week 3 – Lego Land (July 15-19)

Our LEGO Land summer camp theme is perfect for young builders and dreamers who love to construct, create, and explore. We will be going to Play Land, bowling, and Confederation Park splash park. They will also have the opportunity to participate in LEGO challenges, games, and activities designed to spark their creativity and problem-solving skills.

Week 4 – Wonderlab (July 22-26)

Our Wonder Lab summer camp theme is perfect for young scientists, inventors, and explorers who love to ask questions, make discoveries, and unleash their imagination. We will be going to Science World, Clinton Park and playing Lazer Tag!

Week 5 – World Explorers (July 29- August 2)

Embark on a global journey filled with cultural activities, international snacks, and learning about different countries and traditions. We will be going to FlyOver Canada, take the SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay, and have ice cream at Rocky Point Park.

Week 6 – Pokémon Battles (August 6-9) - FULL

Step into the exciting world of Pokémon! Get ready to embark on a journey to become the ultimate Pokémon trainer as you and your fellow campers train, battle, and explore the captivating world of Pokémon. This week we will be going to the Extreme Air Park, Adventure Zone at Grandville Island, and water games at Beaconsfield Park!

Week 7 – Campfire Camp (August 12-16)

Calling all young adventurers! This week is packed with exciting outdoor activities, from nature walks and scavenger hunts to outdoor games and crafts inspired by the beauty of the wilderness. We will be painting ceramic pieces at U paint I fire, playing at Terra Nova Adventure Park, ride the Burnaby Central Train Ride and visit the Burnaby Public Library!

But that's not all! In addition to our themed weeks, we have an exciting lineup of activities planned to add even more excitement to your child's summer experience. From visits to local parks and adventure parks to fun-filled days at Science World or Aquarium, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Please note that any of our outings are subject to change.


NOTE: Our facility is closed from August 19-30, reopening for our regular Out of School Care Program on Tuesday September 3, 2024.

We provide a safe and caring environment that meets the needs of children by providing fun, age-appropriate activities. We are a faith-based program that exists to support development in 5 key areas: Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Social and Spiritual. We encourage children to develop their own talents and abilities, while also providing them with new opportunities to grow. We strive to foster authentic relationships among peers and staff to create a trusting environment where every child is respected and valued.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Our Out of School Care Program offers licensed before and after school care for Laura Secord Elementary. Our rate is $420 per month for full-time care. MCF subsidy is accepted.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm.

Food for Families is a foodbank for individuals and families in Greater Vancouver. We serve wholesome and nutritious food including fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, proteins and grains.

Club Freedom

Every week we offer a nourishing hot meal for community guests. We provide a safe and accepting environment with opportunities to receive Christian counselling, referrals to recovery programs, affordable housing and more.
