Olympic Ticket Giveaway
Vancouver, BC (February 3, 2010)
On Thursday, February 4th at 10am, CityReach Care Society (CityReach), the non-profit that that strives to empower families to move from poverty to prosperity, will be holding an exclusive draw for tickets to the 2010 Winter Games for the participants of their Food for Families food bank.
The Celebrate 2010 Program is providing tickets to CityReach and many other community organizations to ensure that those people with limited financial means are given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the Games. The Vancouver 2010 mascots Miga and Quatchi will also provide an incredible surprise by turning up.

Boxes of Love 2009 - Will you give?
This year, help us give out 300 Boxes of Love to families and seniors in need in East Vancouver. This is an awesome opportunity to experience the joy of giving - to see the smiles of delight as you deliver gifts and a full turkey dinner to a family in need who otherwise would have gone without
Please join us!
Sunday December 20th, at 12:20 pm in the gym of Broadway Church (2700 East Broadway). Following a quick complimentary lunch we’ll pack the food items, wrap the gifts and deliver the boxes to the families and seniors. All the food, gifts, gift wrap, etc. will be provided. This is a family friendly event, so please bring any children along to help!
Register and make a Contribution!
To make this possible, we need help with financial contributions towards a Box of Love (food plus age appropriate gifts for each family member costs approximately $100).
